Davies: Top Of The Table Wrexham Won't Get Carried Away

By Tom Feaheny

Wrexham's assistant Andy Davies applauded the squad for climbing to first but knows the work is far from done.

A 1-0 win against Solihull Moors moved them to three wins in a row in the league and two points clear in first, writes Tom Feaheny.

"Being top that was the plan, we take each game as it comes, we want to win that game, it's what matters at the end of the season," Davies told the club's website.

"We need to keep pushing the focus is there, it's only November but to be there right now shows the run we are on

"On the back of two good results, a clean sheet and the whole team performing with a real effort is great to see."

They face a tough test in their first game as the top team as they take on Aldershot at the weekend, Davies knows about the task at hand.

"We'll prepare for that game properly, they are always a decent side, every game in this league is difficult, Aldershot play good football, we will be ready."
