Crowd Pleasers! Who Pulled In The Most This Weekend?

By Sam Elliott

We’re all intrigued by attendances. The big ones, the little ones and the ones in between.

It’s built in to all football fans to take a keen interest in which clubs are pulling in how many punters on a matchday.

We’re no different here at the National League, so every week we take a closer look at the clubs who post their figures and how well their turnstiles are clicking.

Once again we’ve seen some big crowds recorded. Thanks to a fantastic away following, Salford City recorded a huge 3,595 for their game with Chesterfield. But the top gate this weekend came at Leyton Orient.

Once things have settled down in early September, we will be pull together our league-by-league attendance tables.
