Crowd Pleasers! The Top 10 National League Attendances

By Tom Scott

It was another well-watched weekend across the three National League.

As always, our crowd counters have been working hard and we can confirm the top ten attendances from Saturday’s games.

There’s no surprise the biggest game of the season drew the highest gate - plus thousands watching at home on BT Sport.

There were 4,319 at Chesterfield but they couldn’t get past Eastleigh. The near 3,500 at Hartlepool saw them come from 2-0 down to beat over.

There were three National League North sides in the top seven with York, Hereford and Chester seeing big gates.

But who else came in the top ten?

1.Wrexham v Maidstone 3,604
2.Torquay United v Dartford 2,284
3.Dulwich Hamlet v Truro City 1,960
4.Eastleigh v Barrow 1,738
5.Sutton United v Gateshead 1,722
6.Aldershot v Salford City 1,668
7.Kidderminster Harriers v Spennymoor 1,436
8.Barnet v Hartlepool United 1,269
9.Ebbsfleet United v Boreham Wood 1,110
10.Harrogate Town v Maidenhead 1,105
