Coyle: Sky High Confidence At Winning Welling

Jamie Coyle praised his Welling side who moved up to 5th in the Vanarama National League South table.

A late 1-0 win away at Gloucester City thanks to a strike by Joe Healy settled this match, with the weather causing it to be a tough game for both sides, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I am so proud, I thought we were a little off the pace, we were naturally second to most of it, the conditions were tough to get into half-time at 0-0 was crucial," Coyle said to the club's website.

"For us to not be at it the whole game and get the victory, that shows what the group is made of, the confidence is sky high."

"We have six wins in a row, five clean sheets in those matches, we defend so well and we have the quality where a half-chance can lead to a goal."

They next take on a Wealdstone side who are in good form as well, so it promises to be an exciting game.
