Coulson: I Owe Orient After My Injury Layoff

Defender Josh Coulson wants to repay Leyton Orient for their support after finally returning from injury.

The Cambridge United loanee made his comeback in Orient’s 2-1 FA Trophy win at Haringey Borough last weekend.

It was his first appearance since September 23 due to a groin injury but Coulson made his mark, netting the equaliser before the O’s went on to win.

He now wants to continue his hard work and help Orient climb the Vanarama National League table following a tough first half of the season.

“I’m looking forward to the Christmas period but it is still a case of seeing what happens with the amount of minutes I can play,” Coulson told the club’s website.

“I will be working as hard as I can, but any decision will be down to the gaffer (Justin Edinburgh) and I am focused on helping the team build on the previous two victories in the hope of registering some more positive results.

“I’ve loved being here and now feel that I owe the club to make up for the time I have been out injured.

“This is a great place to be and everyone has been so supportive from the first minute I arrived, so I will be doing everything I can to help.”
