Could The Sold Out Signs Be About To Go Up At Harrogate?

Harrogate Town’s huge Vanarama National League North fixture with York City this weekend could be played in front of a record crowd.

Such is the level of demand to see the Yorkshire derby, the match has been classified as an all ticket game.

Simon Weaver’s Harrogate could pull away at the top of the league with victory but a win for Gary Mills’ Minstermen can help close the gap.

But fans who want to see it must act fast - there will be no tickets available to supporters on the door.

It could be played in front of a record crowd and excitement is certainly growing ahead of the match at the CNG Stadium.

“As previously advised may be the case in earlier club communications, Saturday’s fixture against York City has been made all-ticket, meaning supporters will be unable to pay on the day at the gate,” read a Harrogate statement.

“The decision has been made after ongoing discussions with Harrogate Safety Advisory Group, and due to the fact ticket sales have climbed to record levels.

“A limited number of tickets are still available to purchase online, while tickets will be on sale from 9am – 7pm in the club office both today and tomorrow.

“Please note tickets are not available to purchase over the phone, though will remain on sale until sold out, or until 7pm on Friday evening.”
