Coasters Sign Marrow

....Blackburn and Carlisle United midfielder Alex Marrow.

He joined Carlisle in July 2014 from Blackburn Rovers.

The 25-year-old was released by Rovers and had been training with the Cumbrian side for most of their pre-season

Marrow started his career at Blackburn in 2008 but never made a first-team appearance, although he played thirty-two times on loan with Oldham Athletic in 2009/10.

He signed for Crystal Palace in January 2011 after a loan spell there before returning to Ewood Park in 2013 where he made three appearances as well as a seven-game spell on loan with the Coasters` neighbours Fleetwood Town.

However, after making a handful of appearances for Carlisle he was released towards the end of last season following a fall-out.
