Cassidy Comes In For Dev At Maidenhead

Maidenhead United think they have secured the old-school striker the club need.

Former Hartlepool and Maidstone forward Jake Cassidy will lead the line for the Stripes next season.

Alan Devonshire has been looking for more firepower all summer.

Cassidy has agreed to play at York Road as the club look to improve on last season.

Chief Scout Lee Devonshire told the club’s website: “Jake is a proper old-school centre forward and one we are delighted to finally get over the line.

“He has a good pedigree and has been at some big clubs and we firmly believe we are ideal for him and in turn he is ideal for us.”

Maidenhead will discover who they face on the opening day of the season when the fixtures are released a week on Wednesday.
