Bruno Is Lincoln Bound As Wood's Talisman Takes Off

Bruno Andrade is the latest National League star to step up to the Football League.

Boreham Wood’s top scorer last night became a Lincoln City player.

The 2017 champions moved for the striker, 24, following his fantastic form for Luke Garrard’s team.

He scored 22 times in 50 games in all competitions - and that form say him linked with Portsmouth in the January transfer window.

But Andrade signs for League Two Lincoln as Danny Cowley once again taps into the Non-League market.

“When I dropped down a division I knew my ability would be get me back into the Football League and I'm grateful for Lincoln to give me that opportunity,” he told the club’s website.

"What the Cowley brothers have achieved in the club's first year back in the Football League, unfortunately missing out on the play-offs, but you can see this club is on the up, and I want to be part of it," Andrade added.

The former QPR player signs a two-year contract at Sincil Bank.
