Bobby Is Happy To Cast A Dark Shadow Over Burman

Dartford manager Tony Burman is already sick of the sight of Bobby Wilkinson - he’s even told him as much!

The Wealdstone manager took two points off the league leaders on Tuesday night as the Stones secured a 3-3 draw at Princes Park.

The Darts don’t generally drop points at home - but this is the second time that Wilkinson has got on the wrong side of their manager this season.

“He told me after that he’s fed up of me!” the Wealdstone boss told us this afternoon. “He’s sick of the sight of me because I was the other manager who ruined their home record. I was in charge of Hungerford at the start of the season and we drew there as well," pictured above.

“To be honest, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it on Tuesday night. We should have won, but we could have lost - that’s the beauty of the National League South this season.

“It was the best end-to-end game I can remember, The first half we were electric - the best we have played since I have been at the club.

“The second was never going to be same, it’s a pity we didn’t win but as we know not many people go to Dartford and walk away with three points.”

The Stones next face Chelmsford in the FA Trophy - the manager hasn’t got the best track record in the competition.

“It’s probably one of the toughest draws we can get against a big boy from the same division but every game is important to build momentum.”
