Barnet To Use Fan Power In Quest For New Club Motto

Barnet are taking fan engagement up a notch by asking fans to come up with a new motto for the club.

The Bees are preparing for another season in the National League after finishing 13th this season.

Boss Darren Currie has previously spoke of his desire to restore the club to it's former glories and now the club want a slogan to inspire players and fans alike.

A statement on the club's official website reads: "We're aware that in recent seasons this great and historic club has lost some of its 'club feel'.

"This is a trend that we wish to reverse and over the coming months we will, with your help, be implementing a number of changes.

"One step we wish to take is to introduce a Club motto and we are turning to you, the Bee Army, for inspiration.

"The motto must incorporate key values that can be associated with both Barnet FC and London Bees."
