Allinson Pleased As Banton Commits To His Albans Future

Forward Zane Banton has signed a new deal with St Albans City and boss Ian Allinson can't wait to see how he does.

The ex Luton Town striker impressed for the Vanarama National League South side during the season, writes Tom Feaheny.

Banton has so far scored nine goals for the side during this campaign and will be aiming for more next season.

"Zane is still learning the game and he’s done well during his time here. We need to get the consistency into his game but I’m really pleased he’s going to be with us next season," Allinson told the club's website.

"It’s going to be a tough division but he can pose a threat to any team and I’m sure that he’ll go from strength to strength here at St Albans City."
