A Bit Of All-Wright! Elliott Praises Departing Jake

Boston United boss Craig Elliott has heaped praise on departing striker Jake Wright after his loan spell ended.

It was the perfect swansong on Saturday for Wright, scoring after just 36 seconds to help the Pilgrims on their way to victory against Curzon Ashton.

It was his second goal in four outings but he now heads back to parent club York City where Elliott believes he can make an impact but hasn't ruled out a move in the future.

“I think he has got a big future in front of him but he is not our player," he told Lincolnshire Live.

"I believe he will go back to York and try and get in there but if the opportunity ever comes up to bring him back, I would definitely try.”

Elliott added, "I have got a lot of confidence in him and I have watched him at two or three different clubs and I have always liked him.

“He’s a top player and I am a massive fan of his. His performance shows what we have been missing this season."
